Tick and Mosquito Control

American Pest Control of Massachusetts

A Real Health Danger

Mosquitoes are members of a family of flies called culicidae. The females generally extract blood from their hosts and then use the blood in egg production.

In New England, mosquitoes are the leading transmitter of West Nile Virus, as well as Eastern Equine Encephalitis, both of which can sometimes be fatal especially to those who weakened immune systems.

Ticks are small arachnids that, like mosquitoes, also can transmit dangerous diseases, such as Lyme Disease.

How We Can Help

If you’re tired of hiding indoors during the warm months when mosquitoes and ticks are most active, American Pest Control of Massachusetts can help.

We have specially designed a program geared toward reducing tick and mosquito populations around the home. Because mosquitoes can travel distances, and you have no control over forested areas or swamp areas near your home, we can't entirely eliminate mosquitoes.

However, our service has been proven to reduce the problem substantially. Many satisfied customers call us each year—year after year—and request that we provide mosquito and tick services in their yards. We can help you too.
